Tzedek law office was founded in 2014. Tzedek means justice. Tzedek was intentionally chosen to reflect the core values of the law firm. Our principal lawyer, Florritta Iriogbe, is thoroughly trained both in United Kingdom and in Canada.
Florritta despises injustice and unfairness, and is passionate about the chosen areas of practice because it involve people and relationships, mainly in vulnerable situations, which are at the core of her personal values. Consistent with the meaning of Tzedek, Florritta will employ her expertise to her clients to any level whatsoever regardless of their background, in order to achieve their desired result. Florritta likes people and desires the rewards of having more direct contact with her clients and seeing them happy and satisfied.
Florritta is qualified as a lawyer in United Kingdom and in Canada. Her studies began in sciences (B.Sc. in Microbiology, 1995). She furthered her education in law (University of Wolverhampton and University of Westminster UK, and was admitted in 2008, as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales UK. Florritta also holds post graduate qualifications in Corporate Governance (UK, 2005) and in Business Management (UK, 1999).
Florritta practised as a solicitor in UK and relocated to Canada in 2010. She trained further in Canadian law, worked and articled with the reputable Andreassen Borth law firm in Camrose, and was called to Alberta Bar in July 2014. She is also a member of Canadian Bar Association.
Florritta carries on a general practice of law including immigration, real estate, wills and estates, employment, dependent adult, guardianship and trusteeship, child welfare, adoption, institutional hearings (prison and parole), family and notary public services.
In her spare time, Florritta enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, sewing, making jewelry, listening to music, watching documentaries, cooking, and reading fashion magazines, Christian books and autobiographies of distinguished people.
